Nice stuff all around, but that cabled yarn is particularly gorgeous. It's too bad that cabling eats up the yardage.

The difference between the two wools is amazing, and I think they would look incredible knit into the same project -- love that idea!

I'm still finding my way on the different weights as well -- just a slight difference can make a huge difference LOL! - but if it's any use, for a 3-ply fingering, I aim for about a 42 wpi single, and at least that one seems to be coming out fairly consistent for me.

It does look soft and lofty -- nicely done! Thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of the others. I recently tried Falkland for the first time, and quite liked it. I'm working on some Corriedale right now; jury's sitll out on that one. :-)

I'm struggling to get fatty too, though I only want to get closer to heavy fingering. I'm stuck on the light fingering zone. I could probably fix it if I spun 4-ply instead of 3-ply, but I want to learn how to tell the fiber what to do and not let the fiber misbehave and make me adjust my plans.
All your FOs rock.
